The die casting crucible must be cleaned before the well type carburizing furnace is used to remove oil, rust, slag and oxide on the surface. In order to prevent the iron element in the cast iron crucible of the well type furnace from dissolving in the alloy, the crucible should be preheated to 150-200 ℃, sprayed with a layer of paint on the working surface, and then heated to 2000-300 ℃ to completely remove the water in the paint.
The surface dirt of pit furnace smelting tools shall be removed before use. The parts contacting with metal must be preheated and painted. The tool shall not be stained with water, otherwise it will cause splashing of molten liquid and explosion. Clean and preheat the alloy materials before melting to remove the moisture absorbed on the surface. In order to control the alloy composition, it is recommended to use 23% new material in combination with 13% recycled material. The smelting temperature shall not exceed 450 ℃.
Clean up the scum on the liquid surface in the zinc pot, replenish the zinc material in time, and maintain the normal height of the molten liquid level. Because too much scum and too low liquid level are easy to cause the slag to enter the gooseneck driver, which will pull the steel, hammer head and the driver itself, causing the hammer head, gooseneck and hammer head to be stuck and scrapped. The scum on the molten liquid is stirred calmly with a slag raking rake to gather it for easy removal.
Charging and power transmission of well type nitriding furnace materials:
1、 Charging: before charging, the electric furnace steelmaker shall review the weight, alloy elements and components of the charging according to the operation plan and the batching list, and put 1-2% lime on the furnace bottom. After the furnace charge is put into the furnace, the excessive furnace charge shall be flattened or lifted out to avoid affecting the buckle of the furnace cover, and prevent the furnace cover from being arced and leaking water.
The charging at the top of the basket shall be commanded by a specially assigned person. After the furnace cover is opened, the basket shall be lifted into the center of the furnace quickly, and shall not be too high, too partial or too low. Keep the chain plate of the basket as low as possible without being damaged. For the secondary feeding, it is not allowed to feed until the primary material is completely cleared, so as to avoid the spray and splash of molten steel and prevent explosion.
2、 Power transmission: after the well furnace materials are put into the furnace, the furnace cover, electrode, mechanical drive system, water cooling system, electrical equipment, etc. shall be inspected before power transmission, and any fault found shall be handled in time to avoid shutdown during smelting; Check whether the furnace charge is in contact with the furnace door or water cooling system of the well type furnace. If there is any contact, eliminate it immediately to avoid breakdown after power transmission. If the electrode is not long enough, it shall be replaced before power transmission. If the connector position is loose, it shall be screwed down first to reduce shutdown during smelting.
