The carburizing furnace is composed of furnace shell, furnace lining, furnace cover lifting mechanism, furnace sealing fan, muffle tank, heating element and electric control system. The furnace shell is welded by steel plate and section steel. The furnace lining is an energy-saving composite structure made of 0.6g/cm3 high-strength ultra light energy-saving refractory bricks, aluminum silicate fiber, diatomite insulation bricks and asbestos board.
The furnace cover lifting mechanism is composed of motor, gear pump and other components. When opening the furnace cover, just press the button on the control box, and the furnace cover will rise at a speed of 30-70 mm/s. For the sake of safety, the well type carburizing furnace manufacturer installs two travel switches on the lifting shaft. When the furnace cover rises, the lower travel switch automatically cuts off the power supply of the main circuit of the carburizing furnace control cabinet, making the heating elements power off and stop working. The upper travel switch limits the lifting height of the lifting shaft, so as to prevent the lifting pump from rising too high and falling out.
The furnace is equipped with a sealing fan on the furnace cover to stir the atmosphere in the muffle tank and make its composition uniform, while making the furnace temperature uniform. There are also three process pipes on the furnace cover leading to the muffle tank in the furnace:
A three end stainless steel drip injector is installed at the top of a casing pipe. The three end drip injector is used to inject methyl alcohol, kerosene or other organic liquids into the furnace. All kinds of liquids can be adjusted. The ammonia hole on the casing pipe can be used to transport ammonia to the furnace for carbonitriding (the pipe mouth can be closed when it is not nitrided);
A sleeve is a sampling pipe. A pipe joint on the upper part of the sleeve can be connected with a "U" glass tube pressure gauge to monitor the furnace muffle tank, which is used to maintain the furnace pressure and ensure the normal process of carburizing or carbonitriding. It is made of heat-resistant steel (casting). The heating element is wound into a spiral shape by an electric heating alloy wire, installed on the inner wall of the furnace lining, and led out of the furnace through a lead out handle. The temperature of the carburizing furnace is transmitted to the automatic temperature control cabinet by a thermocouple inserted into the furnace through a compensation wire. The temperature control cabinet automatically controls, regulates and records the heating temperature in the furnace. The carburizing furnace is equipped with a cooling barrel (optional) to store the processed parts. The barrel cover is equipped with a sand seal groove.
