Introduction to Well Carburizing Furnace

The electric furnace structure is mainly composed of furnace body, heating elements and temperature control system.

The furnace shell is welded by section steel and steel plate, and the furnace is built with ultra light high aluminum foam bricks inside. The insulation layer is made of aluminum silicate refractory fiber, diatomite (or vermiculite powder) bulk material to improve the insulation performance of the furnace body.

The heating element is placed on the wire laying brick and is positioned by a small hook of resistance wire.

A heat-resistant plate is welded into a furnace tank and a material basket in the furnace, and the processed workpiece is placed in the material basket.

In order to make the workpiece to be treated uniformly contact with the carburizing gas, a ventilator is installed on the furnace shell to force the airflow circulation, so as to make the temperature and gas in the furnace uniform. The fan shaft sleeve is provided with a sealing device to prevent air leakage and is cooled by cooling water.

The lifting of the carburizing furnace cover is completed by a hydraulic lifting mechanism, and its power is provided by a 10/25 hydraulic device.

When it is necessary to lift the furnace cover, the furnace cover will rise slowly as long as the hydraulic device is started; If the furnace cover needs to be lowered, the furnace cover will be lowered slowly as long as the internal thread stop valve in the hydraulic device is loosened. There are two limit switches at the lifting shaft. When the lifting shaft rises, the lower limit switch automatically cuts off the power supply of the electric fan to avoid the danger of operation; When the furnace cover is fully raised, the upper limit will automatically cut off the power supply of the hydraulic device to prevent accidents when the lifting shaft pushes out the oil cylinder.

The liquid dropping system of this carburizing furnace is equipped with a drop gauge that can drop three kinds of liquids at the same time, and its flow can be controlled through a flowmeter and a needle valve.

Water cooled sample tube, air intake hole and exhaust hole are set above the furnace cover. If they are matched with infrared CO2 analyzer and refitted, the process operation of carbon potential automatic control can be carried out.
