Brick masonry of well furnace bottom
The bottom layer of the furnace bottom is made of refractory clay bricks, and the other bottom layers are made of light refractory bricks to improve the insulation performance of the bottom. Use standard bricks, but cut seams. The furnace bottom of the annular furnace bears the weight of the heating elements, the collision and friction during loading and discharging, the erosion of iron oxide scale, and the repeated changes of temperature during rotation. Therefore, the refractories on the upper layer of the furnace bottom are required to have high temperature resistance, rapid cooling and heating resistance, wear resistance, and no chemical reaction with iron oxide scale.
Effective fire resistance, heat insulation and heat preservation can be made according to the furnace type and temperature. The common practices are as follows:
1. For the electric furnace with load bearing at the bottom, the insulation mode of ceramic fiber blanket composite refractory bricks is adopted.
2. For the electric furnace without load bearing at the bottom, the insulation mode of ceramic fiber module composite ceramic fiber blanket can be adopted
3. For the electric furnace with slight load bearing at the bottom, the insulation mode of ceramic fiber blanket and light ceramic fiber castable is adopted
